What we do

Air Care Products & Candles

This area includes an in-depth management of air fresheners, which include products such as reed diffusers, sprays and automatic machines for the diffusion of perfumes, candles, scented sachets. Each ingredient is subjected to careful documentary and classification verification, as per the CLP Regulation.

To support regulatory compliance, we take care of the drafting of the safety data sheets (SDS) necessary to guarantee correct information on risks and safe uses. Furthermore, we provide detailed instructions for labelling and take care of the review of the artwork, ensuring that the information reported is complete, accurate and compliant with legal standards.
For each product, we manage, as per Annex VIII, the creation of the UFI code and the notification to the PCN (Poison Centres Notification) system via the ECHA portal. Finally, we offer a translation and registration service of the information in all the languages of the European Union, allowing the marketing of the products in the markets of interest, ensuring legislative compliance.

We take care of calculating the classification according to the CLP Regulation, identifying potential chemical risks and ensuring that each mixture is classified correctly. Where possible, we carry out an in-depth analysis for the declassification of dangerous mixtures, working on formulations to reduce associated risks, improve safety and expand market opportunities.

SIS for non-hazardous mixtures: EU drafting and translations

The drafting of Safety Information Sheets (SIS) for mixtures not classified as hazardous is a fundamental service that guarantees transparency and safety along the entire production chain. SIS, although not mandatory like safety data sheets for hazardous substances, are a useful tool to provide detailed technical information on the composition, use and safe management of the product.
This service is particularly relevant in the detergent sector, where clear and precise communication is essential to ensure the correct use of mixtures. Furthermore, to facilitate the distribution of products in international markets, we offer the translation of SIS into all official languages of the European Union, ensuring that each document is understandable and compliant with local requirements. This approach helps to make products more accessible and safe, promoting responsible and compliant management in all operational contexts.

The management of non-hazardous substances is essential to ensure clear and compliant communication along the entire production chain. Each substance is analyzed to ensure compliance with European regulations through a rigorous REACH compliance check, which certifies full compliance with legal requirements.

Hazardous Chemicals

The management of hazardous substances requires a rigorous approach to ensure safety and regulatory compliance at every stage of the product life cycle. Each substance is subject to a REACH compliance check, ensuring that it complies with European regulations on registration, evaluation and authorization.
We take care of the drafting of Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), essential documents for communicating chemical risks and the necessary safety measures to all operators in the supply chain. In addition, we draft the technical data sheet, which describes the chemical-physical properties of the substance, and the drafting of exposure scenarios, necessary to identify and mitigate the risks associated with the use of the product.

As part of regulatory compliance, we also manage the notification pursuant to Article 40 (C&L Notification), in the event of first placing on the market of a substance subject to registration according to REACH or a substance that falls within the scope of art. 1 of CLP (meeting the criteria for classification as hazardous, which is placed on the market as such or as a component of a mixture classified as hazardous).

Raw materials for cosmetic use

We ensure a careful evaluation of fragrances that comply with international standards, in compliance with Regulation 1545/2023, we develop the cosmetic allergen sheet, which details the presence of any allergenic substances, ensuring correct information for consumer safety.

These documents are essential for land, sea and air transport, ensuring that goods travel safely and comply with the provisions of the ADR Regulation and other multimodal agreements. Thanks to our experience, we support companies in the preparation of accurate and complete Tremcards, simplifying logistics and reducing the risks associated with the transport of regulated substances.

GPSR

Applicable from 13 December 2024, Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), relating to general product safety, is also called the General Product Safety Regulation, and applies to all products (except food, pharmaceuticals and medical devices) unless there are specific product safety standards. Among the new features introduced by the new regulation compared to the General Product Safety Directive 2001/95/EC:• obligation to assess the safety of the product which must consider, for example: the design, the technical characteristics, the composition of the product as well as the category of consumers to which it is aimed, the type of packaging. It will be necessary to create technical documentation (technical file), accompanied by a risk analysis and corrective measures. • establishes specific product safety requirements for online markets in order to protect consumers from dangerous products. The product is considered safe when it does not present any risk or only minimal risks compatible with the use of the product, considered acceptable and consistent with a high level of protection of the health and safety of consumers (introduction of a market surveillance system through the rapid alert system Safety gate and Safety business gateway).
